A Bekah Post
Hello all you beautiful furey's.
I just wanted to update to tell all of you how things are in this neck of the woods. The semester has been incredibly busy as I'm taking four classes, and also counseling kids who have been in rough situations -- but I'm loving every single second of it!
I'm feeling a bit old lately as one of my good friends got married in October. Finn -- do you mind if I go back to your age again? Maybe we can switch spots?

I've also been writing a lot of papers about pre-teens and teenage development. Which Linda and Ying were able to help me out on. Thanks girls!
And lastly, and the most exciting thing that has happened this week. Nan gave me money for 'ice cream' of course, and I was able to go get my hair cut! As my friends kept referring to my hair as the 'mullet' because for some reason my hair is growing in weird patterns and the back is ALWAYS longer than the front.
Luckily, my wonderful hair dresser fixed that right up.

Alright, it's almost the end of the week, and my bedtime is getting earlier and earlier (I feel like Nan, in bed by 8pm). I just wanted to let everyone know that the treatments are going well, I'm still having good energy and at this rate I will get MORE than enough quality time with my mom (Doll) for a while! Since we meet in New York for Doctors appointments...
Can't wait to see you all in a week!

a good day
had a great day at our house- linda, ying, rory, finn, jake, di and me- and the airedales.
good food! fresh bruchetta, a great veggie stew and a peanut butter pie that di made and singing happy birthday to jake before he headed back to school.
and thank god- both the yankees and the phillies won!
can't wait til next sunday...apple bread and sugar cookies....

Who reads and Annie
Hi! How are youuu???? Ok, so who looks at this? Cause i feel like the only people are Ying, Doll, and I. Mom may start today... but seriously!? Cause i don't like want to be talking--or bloging-- to no one!! haha. Can someone tell me?Like post a post or comment just so I know! thaaanks.
Aaaannnnyyywwwaaaayyyyy, today was a good day. i had a good day at school. Play Production was myfavorite again..! We are auditioning for the parts in the show on Monday! But of course that will go on for at LEAST (just the SINGING (we have to do a scene too)) Thursday. Probably Friday. I've ALWAYS wanted to do the show Annie sooooo bad. And I knew my time was almost done for me to be able to the show. (I wanted to be Annie!) So when my friend told me what the show was I was the happiest!!!!! ANNIE!! But no one else wants to do it. But who cares!? I reaaally got what I wanted when I heard that at the Paper Mill I'd be doing Annie also. Sooo now my excitment has gone down over the summer. On the bright side I do have now a bigger chance of getting a role I want cause i'm doing double the annie. Down side, (if I do the apprentice thing at the smapa dance company) it's the only show I'll be able to do the whole year.

pop is out of surgery
Nan called to let me know that pop had his pacemaker surgery and is in recovery and is fine.
He spent last night enjoying aunt karen's eggpplant at the Furey house. uncle tim drove him to the hospital this am before 6am- and stayed at the hospital with him. pop should be discharged in a few hours- and will go home to the furey's house to be pampered by aunt karen until he is ready to go back to the beach. nan is at the shore dealing with tornado warnings and monsoon winds and rain. you can call pop at the furey's tonight 732 396 8298 or nan at the beach 732 854-1945

Schooooooooollllllllll
Hi Everyone!!! Oh my gosh this is so cool and exciting!!!! Ok, so today was my first day of school and it was pretty boring. I was disappointed. Maybe it's because I had been super excited for like the past 2-3 weeks (I know). But Play Production was fun. O! maybe it was boring because it was the first day and we don't do anything! By the way, I hope you aaaallllll know about how my school is set up. It's by houses. Nooo there aren't actual houses in school. There are 2 or 3 houses per grade and they have a Science,English,Math, Social studies, and helper teachers in it. And we stay in that house for all 3 years to create like a family and close bond with the teachers and fellow students in the grade. And there is a house leader for each one (one of the teachers) and the Houses are named after them. So my house was House Bousel because our old math teacher was mr.bousel. But he doesn't teach in the house any more so we have a new teacher-ms. Hurwich. Now our house is house hurwich. I hope that wasn't too confusing, I just want you to understand for furture reference. How was your day?? Question--does everyone know about this and have a g-mail acount and go on and stuff?

Here we go..
Hey All --
After we all saw each other this weekend, I kept thinking to myself how much I want to know what is going on in each of your lives, considering there are eleven Furey Cousin's. Since I've been blogging for a few years, about my own treatment... on a seperate blog. I thought this might be a great way for us all to keep in touch without the e-mails.
All of you are 'authors' of this blog. Meaning, you can write ANYthing you want. Or post pictures of what you're up to. Our hope is that everyone updates something about themselves, or what's going on in their lives. Once a month. So, we can keep track of everybody :)
I know the blogging world isn't for everyone -- but, I'm hoping that everyone will put in a little bit of effort. That way Nan, Pop, and all of our parents can check in on this site too. To see how we are, and what we're doing at college, work, home, or school.
If you need ANY help posting. You guys let me know.
First: Go to this website, obviously.
Second: You need to sign in with your e-mail. If you are not a google account user, that is okay, under the 'user name' and 'password' it says in bright blue CREATE AN ACCOUNT.
Once you create a user name, and password. You can sign in! The first page you see will have a big blue tab on it that says 'New Post.' Click on that, and begin to write! After you are done writing, below the text box will be an orange button that says 'Publish Post'
After that. there is a link at the top of the page that says 'VIEW BLOG.' This will show you what your post looks like!
If you want to post a picture. After some writing, or even before your writing. Above the place where you write (the text box), is a small picture of a mountain and sky (right next to the button that has 'abc' and a check mark next to it.' Click this button (the picture button) and it will ask you to choose a file from your desktop or the internet. Pick one, then click UPLOAD IMAGE. This will put the picture in the text box/post for you!
Also -- make each post your own! There is a font button, with colors and a bold button, and bullets -- a lot of this is just like microsoft word, so play, and have fun with it! And remember, try to update something about yourself, your school, your friends, what you did on a fun weekend, just something.... to entertain the rest of the family :)
And yes! Moms, Dads, Uncles, and Aunts, can publish some words too, if they want.
